Kingsbridge SCITT

Although Nursery can be a bit chaotic this time of year, settling children in, embedding routines and classroom expectations, I work alongside lovely colleagues who all support and help each other through the crazy days! I’m loving getting to know the new children and it’s lovely to see last years 2 year olds move up with me to the Mini Pre-school. It is rewarding to watch the children accessing the continuous provision and interacting with each other, as well as participating in the adult initiated/led activities. It’s been really nice to lead sessions as well as having support from my in school mentor, who has been really supportive and already provided me with so many ideas and inspiration to apply to my own practice. The training we have had so far at Kingsbridge has been informative and very interesting. It’s really clear that all of the tutors are an expert in their area, and I’m enjoying learning from them, getting tips and tricks as well as being able to take away so many concepts and ideas to apply to my own practice. Everyone on the course is lovely and its nice to have classes with a mix of people from Early Years to Secondary, as well as classes where to content is specialised to Primary/ Early Years too.
