My first week at Shevington High School has been great! All members of staff are so welcoming and helpful and I have got to know some members of staff better through observing their lessons......
Within my first week I have organised a timetable with my mentor including PE lessons and form time (base group), I have begun observing PE lessons and began observing lessons in other subjects. In some of my timetabled PE lessons I have given general feedback to pupils on their skills and techniques but observing is my main priority at the moment. However, on some occasions I have brought the pupils into the changing rooms, sorted missing kit out and taken the register. I am very excited to start taking on more responsibility in my lessons and eventually have my own classes within the school!
